the transformative power of live theater

Maureen Lee Lenker

Maureen is thrilled to be making her professional stage debut with Antaeus, having assistant directed Top Girls and Henry IVPart One here previously. She holds a BA in Cinematic Arts and History from the University of Southern California, as well as a Master’s in British History from the University of Oxford. Selected credits include: The Merchant of Venice (Portia), House of Blue Leaves (Bunny Flingus), Urinetown (Josephine Strong), The Furies, and The Bearded Girl. She has also directed productions of The Importance of Being Earnest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at USC and Oxford respectively. Special thanks to Cameron for this incredible opportunity and just being an amazing human being; Rob Nagle for confidence, guidance, and inspired teaching; Ann, Kristin, and the ADs for always making Antaeus such a warm, welcoming place; and her brilliant family, especially her mom, for unflagging support, laughter, and love.
