It all begins here. The last Monday of the month, crush a cup of wine, feast at our table and enjoy an actor-initiated play reading as we explore potential future projects.

A group of actors, a script, a table. That's it. No rehearsal, no plan, just -- diving in. A very limited number of seats available for GREENROOM members only to come watch, discuss, discover.

A2 Late Nights: Discover them before the world does! Young. Raw. Uncensored. Stick around after the mainstage plays for guerilla classics featuring the crème de la crème of young, upcoming professional actors, directed by the best emerging theater talents.

Classical Styles Scene Nights: In early December, the new crop of Academy talent presents scenes from The Greeks, Shakespeare, Shaw, Wilde and Coward. In May the presentation focuses on Chekhov, Ibsen and Strindberg, American Classics, Molière and restoration comedy.

Auditing Classes and Study Groups: From Dakin Matthews leading a text-analysis intensive on Shakespeare, to Annette Bening leading a scene-study class in Chekhov, a limited number of auditing opportunities are available for all Academy education programs. Contact Artistic Associate Cindy Marie Jenkins at cindy@antaeus.org for more info.
Artists and audiences come together around the library table for discussion, debate and cross-talk on each of the playwrights of the season. Lively and literate, open to all ages. Check the calendar for more info.

From celebrity-hosted galas featuring the songs of Noël Coward, to performance presentations by at-risk youth here at Deaf West Theatre, to Holiday celebrations with your favorite classical gang, you can play an active role in making the work come to life. Contact Devon Sorvari at devon@antaeus.org about how to get on the guest list!
