A series of master classes in classical scene work moderated by a variety of Antaeus members and outside professional directors and actors. Workshop will focus on scene work in the classics (including contemporary classics) every other week in sessions moderated by Jeanie Hackett and a variety of outside moderators. Scheduling is based on moderators' expertise and availability. Past moderators include Alfred Molina, Daniel Sullivan, Olympia Dukakis, Sabin Epstein, Tom Moore, Brian Cox, Kristofer Tabori, Nike Doukas, Stephani Shroyer, Dakin Matthews, Andy Robinson, Jessica Kubzansky, Jonathan Lynn, Austin Pendleton, Sheldon Epps, Jeffrey Nordling, and many others. This twelve-session program will culminate in a presentation by Academy members of scene work for the membership of the Antaeus Company and invited guests. The fee for this workshop is $500. Members may pay $190 in three installments, but a 12-session commitment is required. Presentation night TBA. By audition.

SHAKESPEARE BASICS - meets Wednesday Afternoons from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
Class starts Wednesday February 20.


Afraid of it? Dying to try? Always wanted to but never did? Here's your chance to discover the challenges and rewards of acting Shakespeare. Taught by award-winning actress Nike Doukas, with special guest moderators. For actors in any age range with the discipline and potential skills for classical work. The fee for this workshop is $500. This is a twelve-week workshop.

ADVANCED CLASSICS - meets Wednesday Evenings from 7:00 - 11:00 pm.

Culminates in workshop performances. Open only to actors who have previously taken Classical Styles, or an Intensive Immersion.
